Lumina: Pliny and Vergil Selections

Exercises created by David Pellegrino and Ella Wallace

LUMINA: Pliny and Vergil online exercises prepare students for the challenges of the AP® Latin Exam. Hundreds of multiple choice question cover ALL syllabus selections from Vergil’s Aeneid and the letters of Pliny the Younger. These automatically-graded activities model exam format and provide students with detailed immediate feedback.

Additional multiple choice question sets promote close reading of companion texts, which meet the teacher’s choice component of the new AP® Latin syllabus. These optional readings are included alongside expert commentary in Pliny: 20 Letters and Suggested Companion Texts and Vergil: Selections and Suggested Companion Texts. With LUMINA, students receive invaluable support as they read widely from a variety of unadapted Latin texts.
