Curriculum

This popular Latin program, featuring the latest in scholarship and pedagogy, is designed with both high school and college students in mind. Written by world-renowned Latinists, Milena Minkova and Terence Tunberg, Levels 1 and 2 include a Latin conversation in each chapter and additional aural-oral activities for each chapter in the Teacher’s Manuals. Teachers are free to implement these as they wish. Under the supervision of the program’s editors, veteran teachers LeaAnn Osburn and Donald Sprague, Latin for the New Millennium has been carefully vetted by seasoned teachers who piloted the curriculum.

Levels 1 and 2 provide a fusion approach to Latin combining the best practices of the reading method, the traditional grammar approach, and a cumulative, literary-rich vocabulary foundation that ensures a smooth transition to upper-level literature courses.
Latin for the New Millennium‘s curriculum is supported by teacher’s manuals, workbooks, and enrichment texts.
