Donald E. Sprague

Biography:

Donald E. Sprague earned a BA in classics from Williams College and an MPS from Loyola University Chicago. He studied at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome and with the Vergilian Society. Sprague taught Latin and Greek at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, IL (1977–2003) and served as an adjunct professor of humanities at Kennedy-King College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago (2004–2015). In 1990, Sprague received the Illinois Latin Teacher of the Year award and the Illinois Lt. Governor’s Award.
