J. F. Mountford

Biography: James Frederick Mountford was professor of Latin at the University of Liverpool, UK. He received his MA from the University of Birmingham. Mountford revised Bradley's Arnold: Latin Prose Composition (Longmans & Co., 1938; reprinted by Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2005) and authored Greek Music and Its Relation to Modern Times (Macmillan, for Society for the Promotion of Hellenic Studies, 1920), Quotations from Classical Authors in Medieval Latin Glossaries (Longmans, Green and Co. for Cornell University, 1925), and The Tours and Vendome Manuscripts of the Liber Glossarum (Edouard Champion, 1024).
