Stephen Daitz, PhD

Biography: Stephen G. Daitz, professor emeritus of classics, City University of New York, has taught courses in the Greek and Latin languages and literatures for many years. He has specialized in research on Greek manuscripts and on textual criticism. Daitz is the author of The Jerusalem Palimpsest of Euripides: A Facsimile Edition (De Gruyter, 1970) and is the founder and editor of the series The Living Voice of Greek and Latin Literature (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2009), a collection of audio readings of Greek and Latin works.
