Margaret A. Brucia, PhD

Biography: Margaret A. Brucia taught courses in Latin and classical antiquity for over thirty years to students in middle school, high school, and college. She received an MA and PhD in classics from Fordham University and an MA in English literature from Long Island University. For more than ten years she has conducted workshops in Rome for Latin teachers. Currently a member of the Classics Department at Temple University, Rome Campus, she serves as the chair of the Subject Area Test in Latin for the College Board. Brucia is the coauthor with Gregory Daugherty of To Be a Roman (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2007) and with Madeleine Henry of Horace: Satire 1.9: The Boor (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 1998).
