Ruth Spivak

Biography:

Ruth Spivak received a BA in Jewish Studies and an Education degree (Dip. Ed.) from McGill University. After obtaining her MA in Greek and Roman Studies from the University of Calgary, she is now pursuing doctoral studies in the Department of Classics and Religion, researching the contributions of classically educated women in 16th century Spain and Portugal. She has served as graduate assistant for the Latin of Science course at the University of Calgary since 2013. Previously, Spivak has served as a teacher of Hebrew, French, Latin, music, and history.
