Representative selections from the work of Tacitus, chosen to represent the entire existing corpus of Tacitus: Annales, Historiae, Germania, Agricola, and Dialogus. The reading selections are supplemented by an introduction that situates Tacitus as a historical and as a literary figure, a grammatical and historical commentary on the Latin passages, and a complete end vocabulary.
