Author Bio

Paul F. Distler, S.J., is a respected author in the field of Latin pedagogy. His books include Latin I: Beginning Reading (1961), Latin II: Progress in Reading (1963) and Latin III: Forward in Reading (1965), Latin IV: Appreciation in Reading (1968), Vergil and Vergiliana (1966). In 1967 he was recipient of an Ovatio, the highest honor given by The Classical Association of the Middle West and South.
