T. Davina McClain is Associate Professor and Chair of Classical Studies at Loyola University New Orleans. She received concurrent BA degrees in Classical Studies and History from Trinity University and an MA (Latin) and PhD (Classical Studies) from Indiana University. Her research focuses primarily on Roman historiography and especially on the depiction of women in Livy. Her teaching ranges from Greek mythology and the Ancient Novel to Beginning Greek and Latin and readings in authors from Greek tragedy to Augustine. Although her work has focused more on the Latin and Roman side of the classical spectrum, she is dedicated to making all aspects of the classical world as accessible as possible. |
