TRACKING SOFTWARE
The tracking software
on our Web server collects only the domain name of visitors' computers,
not their Email address. Domain name information is used only in
aggregate and for internal purposes.
We do not use "cookie" software to track
the activity of anyone on our site.
However, cookies are used to give secure
shopping cart access to customers. Only your email address is stored
until the browser is closed.
Once submitted, order information is
stored in a secure database. Credit cards are only stored in the
secure database until the order is retrieved by the Order Department.
EMAIL ADDRESSES
There are only two instances
in which we ask for email addresses over our Web site but these
email addresses are never sold or traded:
- When someone orders a book over our site, we
ask for an email address to help facilitate orders.
- When a visitor subscribes to our electronic book
announcement service, an email address is required to transmit
the new book information.
If you do not want to
receive email from us in the future, please let us know by sending
email to us at the above address or calling us at the above telephone
number or writing to us at the above address and telling us that
you do not want to receive email from our company.
POSTAL ADDRESSES
If you supply us with
your postal address on-line you will only receive the information
for which you provided us your address. If you wish to be removed
from our mailing list, please let us know by sending email to us
