Priests As Caretakers of Worship Mokosits, a demigod and Mokosh's son fathered by a mortal, was the first to fill priestly office and attend to the worship of his mother Mokosh. In the background, there is a cromlech, a sort of altar for making offerings at. Very often, the Slavic gods would choose to be appeased with blood shed on the cromlech.
