Black and White: Creation Myth

That of the Early Slavs' has been made of the manure of Svarozhich's horse while two pigeons, black and white, were struggling on it and leaving traces. Connotations of the Indo-European solar myth are very clear. The feet (and their traces) are another image of the sun. In all cases the footprint is the visible sign of a god, a token of his presence and power which although celestial is deeply connected to the earth.
