Svarozhich and Dazhbog's stallions symbolize the peace and unity ever in short supply among Slavic tribes. Prominence given to horse is altogether one of the intriguing things about the early Slavs. Horse and sun motifs abound, the horse being also associated with male fertility (stallions).
